Here is a news which may surprise many in india.
At cannes Unilever is being honoured as the Advertiser of the year.
I have worked on Unilever brands in india and generally creative people shy away from Unilever accounts.
So from that perspective it seems like a paradox.
I hope this will create a new surge of creative spirit in Unilever India as well.

Y a agreed it is a paradox. But not to forget that Cannes whole parameter of judging is based on result oriented advertising. Couple of months back i was reading somewhere hmmmm… don’t remember, that Unilever brands are the most trusted brands in india. They also spent 3 times more than what they spent in last 3 years. Also there sales were up by 40% this year. No wonder they are the advertiser of the year.
